Lightning & storm kills 3 in Nawada, 4 critically injured

In a tragic incident, heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning claimed the lives of three youths and left four others in a critical condition in Navada, Bihar. According to reports, all the victims were working in the fields when sudden torrential rain and lightning struck.

Unfortunately, before they could reach a safe place, they were struck by lightning. The deceased have been identified as Sosa Kumar, alias Shyam Bihari (19), Monu Kumar (22), and Ajay Kumar, the son of Devnarayan Singh. The incident occurred in Aajampur village under the Warisaliganj police station.

The injured victims have been admitted to VIMS Pawapuri for treatment, while one is receiving medical care at Warisaliganj PHC.The village is currently in a state of shock and mourning following the tragic deaths of the three young individuals. The incident has created an atmosphere of gloom and despair, with the relatives of the deceased grieving inconsolably.

In another unfortunate incident, lightning claimed the lives of an 8-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl in Shekhupura, Bihar. In Rajopur village of Chevra Panchayat, Chandan Kumar was playing with his three friends when suddenly lightning struck. Chandan immediate death, while his three friends only lost consciousness for a brief period.

Furthermore, in Kabirpur village, located in the jurisdiction of Shekhupura Sarai police station, a 12-year-old girl named Bipasha was herding cattle with her mother and two others. As heavy rain intensified, they sought shelter in a makeshift hut. Tragically, lightning struck, claiming the life of Bipasha while leaving her mother and three others critically injured.
